We’ve seen two separate sets of spy shots of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and they were framed in a way that focused on the curved screen. A new batch shows the true killer feature – the bezel-less design. You can almost see it in the previous shots, but this one makes it clear – there’s only an almost non-existent border around the top and sides of the big 5.7" screen.
Rumors should always be taken with a pinch of salt, but you only need enough salt to last you until October 25. Xiaomi took to its official Weibo account to post a teaser image that reveals the date and nothing more.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2: No bezel here • Nor here • Official teaser image
Luckily, we have the rumor mill to fill in the blanks. There seems to be a two-way split in the specs – one version will have a 5.7" 1080p screen, 4GB of RAM plus 64GB of storage, while the other will go up to a QHD screen and 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage (or even 256GB). Both versions should share in a dual 16MP camera, Snapdragon 821 chipset and a 4,000 mAh battery somehow stuffed into a body only 6.5 mm thick. Good luck, Xiaomi, we will be watching.
