Here is Samsung’s announcement – and apology – to the Swedish Note 7-clients – M3

the controversy around burning and exploding Galaxy Note 7-phones finally became too much for the Samsung, and yesterday went out with that the production of the eagerly-awaited flagship is completely stopped.

Note 7 could never begin to be sold over the counter in Sweden, but Samsung and several dealers received advance bookings of the phone. This caused many to wonder how they have time to reserve a copy would be compensated.

“Our consumers’ safety is our top priority and although we haven’t started sales of the Galaxy Note 7 in the store in Sweden, so we would like to invite those who may have a Note 7 to stop using the product, make a back-up and turn it off, ” says Lars Jansson, Corporate Vice President & Head of Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics Nordic in a statement.

On Samsung’s behalf goes Lars Jansson also out with an apology:

” We really want to apologize to our Galaxy Note 7-clients that we are not able to live up to the quality and high standard that you expect of Samsung. We are grateful for your patience during this time and wish to emphasise that we are extremely sorry for the inconvenience that this caused.
