Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the much-rumored Mi Note and Mi Note 2 in China tomorrow, and seems like it has another product launch up its sleeves. The company’s crowdfunding platform MiJia has teased a new product, which is suspected to be an egg cooker. On its Weibo account, MiJia released a teaser records of a new product, which is scheduled to be launched tomorrow, on October 25. The records shows a sumo wrestler juggling a sliced boiled egg, running across the Great Wall of China.

Along with Mi Note 2, Xiaomi could launch an egg cooker tomorrow

Egg cookers are a healthy way of cooking eggs, and most of them use the power of steam, or microwave. These cookers come in different designs and differ on functionality as well. Where some cookers allow you to make boiled, poached and scrambled eggs, some even make patties for easy breakfast sandwiches. It will be interesting to see just what Xiaomi has in store for its users. Like the rice cooker, this upcoming egg cooker too could have smart capabilities with the option to control different aspects via a smartphone app.

Lately, Xiaomi and its crowdfunding platform, MiJia, has been on a launch spree, incessantly expanding its Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem. This year, the company has launched an air purifier, an alarm clock, an induction pressure cooker, a Mi Pen, a gaming keyboard, an Umbrella, a portable mosquito repeller, a water kettle, and a Mi Drone, and may be a few more products we may be missing out on. Just last week, catering to the growing gaming market in China, Xiaomi announced the Wyatt Ft mechanical keyboard in China. The keyboard has six layers of design with 87 keys along with TTC Red Switches, which can colspan = up to 50 million hits. Additionally, the gaming keyboard comes with an STMicroelectronic master chip, provides about 1ms response time, and 11 key presses without any mechanical contradictions. The keyboard is designed to make sure that a gamer’s hands don’t ache on prolonged usage. And the best thing about the new gaming product by Xiaomi, is with any other product by them, is its pricing. Other than that, last week, Xiaomi also launched a Mi Music Alarm Clock, which interestingly, doubles as a portable Bluetooth speaker. Xiaomi’s Mi Music Alarm Clock, which the company calls the 'the Voice', is aimed at waking a user up and making sure they go back to sleep with soothing music. The Mi Music Alarm Clock is equipped with "Tesla-level cell system" and uses symmetric passive bass vibration absorber design, which does not make the alarm clock rattle or vibrate when playing music at high volume. The Mi Music Alarm clock also works with the Mi Home app which can be downloaded from the Play Store. Using the app, one can set alarm times and also choose their preferred tune from the preset tunes available in the Mi Music Alarm Clock or set tunes from their smartphones. Xiaomi recently also released an upgraded version of its 10,000 mAh power bank, called the Mi Power Bank Pro. The new power bank comes with USB Type-C charging, along with a two-way charging feature. Xiaomi claims that the power bank is smart enough to adjust power output to safely charge each connected device. The Xiaomi 10,000 mAh Power Bank also comes with low power charging feature for charging devices with low power for safety reasons. Other than smart devices, Xiaomi has also been working on products that aren’t smart but are superior in terms of quality. A couple of months ago, MiJia launched the Mi Pen, which is a high quality pen that costs under $ 3 (approximately Rs 200). The Mi Pen is a regular refillable pen, however its components make it stands out from the rest. It uses Swiss PREMEC refills, along with Japanese mikuni ink, which is a quick-drying ink. This special Japanese ink, claims MiJia, dries up easily, does not fade or break and gives silky smooth hand writing. Xiaomi’s Mi Pen also features a 0.5 mm tungsten carbide ball tip, which pops in and out with the help of the Mi Pen's 120 degree spin unscrew. The pen's connectors are made using metal, and the rotary member is made of copper which gives it a life-span of 50,000 rotation.
