Samsung’s Galaxy Note II will reportedly be upgraded to Android 4.3 right, skipping the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update Entirely, According To a new statement from the Australian wireless carrier Telstra. It makes sense in this day and age where time and resources to providesprofessional every single update can be costly, especially if Samsung wants to try to keep its customers on the latest version of Android possible. An update to Android 4.2.2, When Android 4.3 is expected as soon as next week, would not make a ton of sesne.

“Samsung have elected globally to skip the 4.2.2 update for this device and will instead go to a newer version of Android,” Telstra said in a statement. “No schedule has been provided for this update.” We expect it could land in the next couple of months after it has been pushed to the Nexus and Google Edition smartphones, though U.S. carriers will still need to test the software before pushing it out to each Note II in America.

We imagine the update will come with a few of the added software features That are on the new Galaxy S4 devices, though others, like WatchOn Entirely rely on hardware featuressuch as the IR blaster. Techno Buffalo REACHED out to Samsung for an official word though the company Declined to comment.
