Root Galaxy Note 2 N7100 on Official Android 4.1.2 XXDMG1 Jellybean Firmware
Samsung recently rolled out the latest Android 4.1.2 over-the-air (OTA) update, with build number N7100XXDMG1, for the international version of the Galaxy Note 2 with model number GT-N7100. The latest official Jelly Bean firmware can now be rooted on the Note 2 via the CF-Auto-Root tool released by XDA Azimut developer, Chainfire.
Users who have updated alreadycreated Their device with Android 4.1.2 XXDMG1 official firmware can root the devices using this tutorial.

Note: Flashing this root package will Increase device’s flash counter and installation of any custom firmware or modification of stock firmware will void warranty. Pre-Requisites

- The CF-Auto-Root tool and given rooting method workswith Galaxy Note GT-N7100 2 only. Attempting to install this firmware on incompatible devices May brick or damage device. Verify device model number by navigating to Settings> About Phone.
- Download and install Necessary USB drivers for smartphone on computer
- Enable USB debugging mode on phone by navigating to Settings> Developer Options
- Backup important data and settings on phone via ClockworkMod (CWM) or TWRP recovery
- Ensure phone is factory unlocked , as is its bootloader
- Ensure phone has at least 80% battery charge to preventable unexpected device shutdown (due to battery drain) During the firmware installation

How to Root Galaxy Note 2 N7100 on Official Android 4.1.2 XXDMG1 Jellybean Firmware
Step 1 : Extract CF-Auto-Root and Odin 3:07 zip files using winrar or 7zip or winzip and copy files to computer desktop
Step 2 : Power off the phone and boot into Download mode by pressing and holding Volume Down Home and Power buttons until construction Android Robot icon with warning triangle Appears onscreen. Now press Volume Up to enter Download mode
Step 3 : Launch Odin on computer; do so as Administrator, as Those privileges are required to complete the installation root
Step 4 : Connect Note 2 to computer via USB cable while still in Download mode. Wait until Odin recognises device and ID: COM box turns blue with Corresponding COM port number. This Confirms device is connected successfully
Step 5 : In Odin, click PDA and choose CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.tar.md5 file
Step 6 : Ensure Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checkboxes are selected in Odin. Also, Verify Re-Partition option is unchecked
Step 7 : Double-check previous steps and click Start to being the installation process
Step 8 : After root installation process completes, phone will reboot and a PASS message against a green background Appear in a box on the top left of the Odin screen. You can now remove the USB cable to disconnect device from computer
Galaxy Note GT-N7100 2 is now rooted on Android 4.1.2 XXDMG1 official firmware and apps Requiring root access can now be installed on the phone. Check root status of device by downloading and installing Root Checker app from Google Play Store.
