As Samsung Galaxy Note 2 consumers might not be able to update Their devices to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. There is a surprise for them. As such situations are thwart awful, but this time the case seems to be different.
If the latest report is correct, then the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 would skip Android 4.2.2 and get the Android 4.3 Jellybean Directly.
This news comes as a part of the confirmation received by the Australian carrier Telstra That says, “the Samsung Galaxy Note II 4G model will skip Android 4.2.2 and will ask Directly updated to the 4.3 Jelly Bean.” However it’s not confirmed Yet thatthis update will only be applicable to Note 2 devices of a specified region, and knowing Samsung, it’s safe to Assume that the update will be applicable for all the Galaxy Note 2 handsets.
Telstra’s support page says, “Samsung globally have elected to skip the 4.2.2 update for this device and will instead go to a newer version of Android. No schedule has been provided for this update. “
Bear in Mind That the Android 4.3 update is applicable for 4G enabled Galaxy Note 2 devices only, hence as of now the update seems to be confirmed for the Galaxy Note 2 N7105 models, Note N7100. Though it does meansthat N7100 handsets will be ignored, it might take some time, but it’s almost certainkind Because Samsung will not want to disappoint Their consumers.
Telstra’s support page has not Mentioned the version number for the ‘newer Android,’ nor gives us a date When we can expect the update. Hence we will have to wait for Samsung to shed some light on this matter, or simply make the official announcement.
