Root Installer has tested the batteries on the Samsung Galaxy S3, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the Apple iPhone 5 and the Motorola Razr Maxx, leaving the RAZR still at top.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs S3 vs RAZR MAXX vs iPhone 5 (battery life)

Motorola have enjoyed a great deal of success withtheir Maxx range of devices. However do not get confused over the Motorola Razr Maxx and the Motorola Razr. Both of the devices come with screens That are 4.3 inches, and They have similar looks, however Their thickness Differ to make room for the battery. The Razr Maxx has a 3300mAh battery and you should get around two days of use from it with average to low use. This is the winner in the test at Root Installer right now.

The battery of the Samsung Galaxy S has to power the large 4.8 inch screen. If you stay away from heavy playing video games and GPS then you May get a day’s use out of the battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 overpriced has a large display of 5.5 inches and this has a battery of 3100mAh. Even with the large battery it does not manage as well as the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the battery isn’ta what has made the handset popular. You will just make it back to the night stand with moderate usage.

The battery of the Apple iPhone 5 is better than on some of the other devices in someways. The screen of the device is 4 inches, but the phone is very thin, there fore Apple had to work hard to Increase the size of the battery with very little room. You should be able to get a full day’s use from it and not have enough to even survive till the next morning. It is interesting to note that the Apple iPhone 4S came out on top over the Apple iPhone 5 and this is perhaps thanks to it having a smaller screen and no LTE.
