How to Root Android 4.3 XXUEMJ5 Leaked test Firmware on Galaxy Note N7100 2

  • Download the CWM Root package (from above link) to your computer and extract thezip file to obtain ~. tar.md5 file.
  • Download ODIN v3.07 (from above link) and extract Odin v3.07.exe Which is needed to root Android 4.3 Jelly Bean XXUEMJ5 firmwareon Galaxy Note 2 N7100.
  • Power off the phone and boot it into Download Mode. To do so, press and hold Volume Down and Home buttons together, and then tap the Power button until the Samsung logo with red and yellow text Appears on screen. Then tap the Power again to confirm entry into Download Mode.
  • Launch ODIN on computer and connect your phone to it while the phone is still inDownloadMode.
  • When the phone connects successfully, one of the ID: COM boxes will turn yellow with the Corresponding COM port number. This step-May take sometime, so leave it alone.
  • Now choosethe filethat needs to be flashed or installed on your phone, Which can be found from the extracted files in Step 1: Click the ‘PDA’ button and choose the file ‘ CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.tar.md5 .’
  • Enable Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time option in ODIN, but leave all other options at Their default settings.
  • Now click Start button in ODIN and the root installation process will begin. It would take just a few minutes to complete.
  • Once the root installation is complete, your phone will reboot into recovery Automatically Mode and install the root package. Your device ID: COM box will turn green overpriced, suggesting the root installation is Successful.
  • When The homescreen boots up, just disconnect your phone from computer. NOTE: If the device fails to boot into recovery Modeautomatically or if rooting fails, then just repeat the entire procedure again.
  • OPTIONAL: If the root is still not installed, once again perform the entire tutorial, but make sure that “Auto Reboot” option is NOT checked in ODIN. Then once the root installation completes, do the Following:
  1. Remove the battery to power off the phone forcefully.
  2. Now boot the phone by pressing Volume Up, Home and Power buttons to enter Recovery Mode manually. This will Initiate the root installation process on your phone.

Your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is now rooted on Android 4.3 XXUEMJ5 leaked test firmware. Check for the SuperSU app in your apps list to verify.
