Android 4.3 Update: Yay For Galaxy S3 and Note 2, Nay For S4! - Tekrieg

The Jelly Bean 4.3 update is coming out for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and while this is superb news, fans will be disappointed about the fact That the update does not sacrifice the software of the Samsung Galaxy S4. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 willalso get the update, Which Should make an appearance at some point this month. It is saidthat the update is being worked on by the carriers at the moment.

SamMobile saidthat the update does not bring the features of the Samsung Galaxy S4 to the older handsets.

Samsung have made improvements to bugs and security from EARLIER version of Jelly Bean. The update will bring with it Bluetooth Low Engery, OpenGL ES 3, improvements to the dialpad, text tweaks and language support. We are hoping That the hassles with TouchWiz havebeen ironed out.

Samsung saidthat the Jelly Bean 4.3 update will be heading to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the handset is on Jellybean 4.1 at the moment.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 willalso updated to Jelly Bean 4.2.

The updates to Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and 4.3 are set to bring changes to the handsets but with KitKat 4.4 coming, some owners May not update to 4.2.2 or 4.3. At the moment there is no word on Whether KitKat 4.4 will be available for the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Google Says That KitKat wil be heading to some older devices, however the update needs to be compatible with TouchWiz. On the other hand owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy S3 can always use custom ROMs for KitKat.

Android Jelly Bean 4.4 will sacrifice Wider network coverage, a new system UI, and improvements to the CPU, battery boost, Cloud system and smoother all-round performance.
