Just last week, Samsung confirmed Their intentions to bring Android 4.3 to the Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S4 to Android 4.3 in the near future. Today Samsung is back with more news, Further Clarifying its plans.
The biggest revelation Is that the Note 2, GS3 and GS4 will be receiving more than just Android 4.3 and Galaxy Gear support. Samsung is Bringing a new Premium Suite upgrade to the aforementioned devices. The new upgrade includes Several software improvements, a new multi-window mode, easy mode support, advanced camera features and Samsung Knox.
As for the time-line for the Premium suite’s arrival? According To Samsung, the update will rollout in the “coming weeks”, with the upgrade process starting as early as today for some lucky Samsung users:
Samsung’s original press release did not specified Which device or carrier will see a roll out today, but Samsung’s support page Reveals That Verizon’s Galaxy S4 will be the very first. Interestingly enough, That falls in line with a Previously leaked release schedule That surfaced last week.
If the rest of the schedule holds true, That means Sprint will be next with the Galaxy S4 on the 30th of this month. It also means all four major carriers willhave the update process completed by mid-December.
In addition to announcing the new Premium Suite upgrade, Samsung overpriced Revealed That Galaxy Gear Support (Discount Hotel Suite) will be coming to the Galaxy Mega, Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S4 Mini in the “coming months”.
