Samsung Galaxy S4 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Samsung Galaxy S4 is the latest flagship from Samsung and while the handset has been all over the headlines in the past month, lets not forget here That it was the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Which was the star of the show previous year. So here it goes, a full blown comparison between the flag ships.

Design And Build Body

Being the member of the same Galaxy family, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2
more or less, follow the same design and bodybuilding as of That the Galaxy S3. Yes, the resemblance is so striking That to an untrained eye These phones might Appear as the bigger versions of S3.

On the bodybuilding side, both of These devices make use of the same plastic body That Samsung has always been criticized for. As alreadycreated said, both of These phones are flagship devices so it was really disappointing to see the absence of a metal body.

Display

Both the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with a display That is larger than most of the other phones That are out there. However, When it comes to Choosing one of them, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is a clear winner with its
5 inch 1080p panel. However, the Note 2 is not too far behind with a 5.5 inch 720 x 1280 pixels display. Ultimately, it is a matter of human choice and a 1080p display felt more Appropriate to us.

Samsung has used Super AMOLED displays in both of These devices.

Processor And RAM

Frankly speaking, both of These devices have more than enough processing power than you are ever going to need. However, on paper the Exynos 5 Octa Core processor (quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A15

& quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7) processor of the Samsung Galaxy S4 is preferred over the quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A9 of Note 2 Because of better power management.

Both of devices come with 2GB of RAM built into them.

Camera And Internal Memory

The Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with a 13 MP, 4128 x 3096 pixels, autofocus, LED flash, rear and a 2 MP, 1080p @ 30fps front camera. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 features only an 8 MP, 3264 × 2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash rear camera along with a 1.9 MP 1080p @ 30fps zapper on the frontside. Apart from a superior camera, the Galaxy S4 overpriced comes with a new feature called Dual Shot Which Allows the users to take a picture using the front camera and rear camera Simultaneously.

Similar to most of the Samsung’s devices, the S4 and Note 2 overpriced comewith 16/32/64 GB of internal storage with support for microSD cards up to 64GB.

Firmware

Samsung Galaxy S4 is a clear winner in this category since it comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean right out of the box alongwith the latest version of TouchWiz & Q Which Several new featuressuch as air gestures and Smart Pause.

As for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, it comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean by default and while a firmware update Should give it most of the features of the S4, as things stand right now the S4 is definitely has an upper hand.

Verdict

With the rumor mill Indicating the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 right about the corner, we would highly recommend you to wait for sometime before going for any of the above phones.

However, if you are not in a position to wait, then the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be a much better choice for you than the Note second Reasons for this is pretty simple, the S4 has a more advanced firmware, better camera and a 1080p display That is the trend right now.
