How To Unlock Your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Or S3 In 5 Moves! - SidhTech

If you have a locked version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or the Samsung Galaxy S3 you can unlock it free of charge very moonrise. When you have unlocked the handset you are then able to travel with it around the world or move between carriers.

How to unlock the Samsung Galaxy S3 (Note 2 as well)

Insert a SIM card that’s NOT from your carrier into the handset. Switch it off and

on again, with the foreign carrier into place.

Open up the dialpad and key in * # 197328640 #. Go to Main Menu> [1] UMTS> [1] Debug Screen> [8] Phone Control> [6] Network Lock> Options [3] Perso SHA256 OFF> then wait for 30 seconds or so. Then hit Menus and choose Back. You should now see Network Lock. Then choose [4] NW NW Lock Data INITIALLIZ.

To make sure you did not make a mistake, the sequence you shouldhave typed in is: Asterisk Pound One Nine Seven Three Two Four Six Eight Zero Pound. However some people call the asterisk the star button and the pound button is sometimes called hash.

Your Samsung Galaxy S3 or your Galaxy Note 2 Should now be unlocked, and able to accept any SIM card from any carrier worldwide. This code has been used on Samsung devices for a while, so it might work on other Samsung handsets as well.
