It seems the Android 4.2.2 update for Samsung’s top Galaxy models – Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 has been delayed. The new version of the TouchWiz Which needs to be tested on both the models has emerged to be the reason for the delay.
We saw both the high-end Android models receive the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean sometime back Bringing on board Project Butter, customizable Notification panel, the smart stay, pop-up play feature, predictive keyboard, Google Now and smart rotation and much more.
However with the new iteration of the Android available, it is quite human to crave.
While there is no doubtthat the Android 4.2.2 will Eventually arrive on the smartphone – the wait and watch can be a bit tiring. Nevertheless with both the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 still commanding a Successful position in the Galaxy line-up, we hopefully will not have to wait too long – specially after seeing Samsung’s latest offering financial Galaxy Ace 3 arriving with Android 4.2.2 out of the box.
Infact most of the newer Samsung devices including Galaxy S4, S4 Galaxy Mini, Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Galaxy Mega 5.8 all run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

The Android 4.2.2 update was recently rolled out to the Galaxy S4 in India.
