Previously there was newsthat Samsung will be pushing Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 smartphones. But, now there are rumors thatthere have been delays in the roll-outs due to issues with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. This piece of information comes from a Recent tweet from SamMobile.
The two smartphones did get a Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update sometime back. The update brought Several new features including Project Butter, customizable Notification panel, smart stay, pop-up play feature, predictive keyboard, Google Now, smart rotation amongst others.

There is no concrete news on what the 4.2.2 update will bring, but SamMobile did leak the test firmware alongwith details of the update for the Galaxy S3. Although the news of the delay does not come Samsung itself, SamMobile is known for giving accurate updates on Samsung related news. Besides, the South Korean giant never did specify the date of release for the updates.
