Unveiling of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 to be an October affair? – Phone Arena

Now that Xiaomi has cleared the decks with the unveiling of the Xiaomi Mi 5 and Mi 5 Plus, there is still the matter of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. This also is expected to be a high-end handset featuring a curved edge screen. A 5.7-inch AMOLED Force Touch display will carry a 1440 x 2560 resolution. We could see two versions of the phone. One comes with the Snapdragon 821 SoC featuring a quad-core 2.4 GHz CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. 8GB of RAM is inside this variation. The other model is driven by the Snapdragon 820 chipset with 4GB of RAM aboard.

The premium version with the Snapdragon 821 inside will have 256GB of native storage, and will be dubbed the Mi Note 2 Pro. The Phone carrying the Snapdragon 820 with the 4GB of RAM will most likely ask known as the Mi Note 2 (no Pro). A 3600mAh battery will sacrifice the Quick Charge capabilities on the Mi Note 2 Pro.


The buzz around the water color is that the Mi Note 2 will be priced at the equivalent of $ 399 USD. There is a definite similarity in style between the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Analyst Pan Jiutang says that the Mi Note 2 will be introduced at the end of next month with a plethora of color choices.
