Samsung will replace all of the 2.5 million phones by the model Note 7 that have been delivered since the sales launch two weeks ago. About three dozen of the phones have been discovered to have batteries that caught fire and exploded.
Estimates of investment and research firms Credit Suisse Group, Daishin Securities and Pelham Smithers suggests that the withdrawal will cost a billion dollars or just below, according to news agency Bloomberg. But the debacle can be more expensive than, say experts who spoke with Bloomberg.
