Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Update Steps (Guide) - SidhTech

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 owners can now update Their Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. This Android 4.2.2 custom ROM is compatible with the international version of the Samsung Galaxy Note second

Please take note that before you can install the custom ROM on your Samsung Galaxy Note 2, you need to root the device first and make sure thatthere are at least 70% of battery charge left. You would also need to enable USB debugging mode on the Note 2 and install Necessary power for the Note 2 on your computer.

If you had Fulfilled the prerequisites above, follow the steps below for the installation.

1. Download the proper 4.2.2 Jellybean ROM and Google Apps package into yourcomputer.

second Connect your Galaxy Note 2 to the computer then copy the custom ROM and the Google Apps package you havedownloaded EARLIER to the SD card of your device.

3rd Switch off the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and reboot it into recovery mode.

4th Create a Nandroid backup for your current ROM in case you need to restore it later.

5th Perform a full data wipe. Select “wipe data / factory reset” and “wipe cache partition.” After that, go back and select “advanced> Wipe Dalvik Cache.”

6. Begin the installation by going back to the main menu and select “install zip from sd card> choose zip from SD card.” Choose the custom ROM zip file you have copied on your Galaxy Note and confirm installation. Do the same with the Google Apps package.

7. Once the installation is complete, go back to the main menu and select “reboot system now.”

Do take note that the first reboot would take longer than usual. This is totally normal and instead of panicking, You should just wait patiently. Now you shouldhave Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean running on your Galaxy Note second
