The Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates are still missing on Several carriers outside of the United States. Gotta Be Mobile has been tracking some of the most glaring culprits and today, we have a few more details to share in regard to a couple of missing Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 updates.

In November, Samsung Began rolling out the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates, updates That not only brought new features to the table but overpriced delivered Galaxy Gear Support and Samsung Knox security enhancements. In December, the updates finished rolling out in the United States though as we head deeper into the new year, there are some carriers outside of the United States That still have not rolled out These important upgrades.

We have been tracking some of the missing updates, at least the ones That carriers have provided information for, and today we have a few more updates to share with the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 owners who are still missing Their upgrades.

Wirelessly charge the Galaxy S3.

We’ve seen two carriers in Australia sacrifice some details. Optus, a small carrier, confirmed todaythat it has completed testing on its Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update and That the update Should be pushed out soon by Samsung. It did not supply a specific date, only That it will be coming in the near future.

Telstra, an Australian carrier That has been embroiled in some controversy thanks to its long-delayed Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 update and missing Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 update, recently coughed up some new information. The carrier says That the Galaxy Note 2 update is in testing and That its current target deployment date is February 3rd. The carrier originally saidthat the update would roll out in December and then went Several weeks without an update to the situation, somethingthat drew the ire of the Galaxy Note 2 owners.

Oddly enough, it still does not have any details about a Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. While carriers around the world have delivered Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, Telstra still doing now? Confirmed an update for the Galaxy S3 users. The carrier simply states That it has “No information we can share on this device at this stage.”

The Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 can run S Voice from the Galaxy S4 with S Voice Drive.

At this point, it still looks like most major Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates for the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 will be completed by the end of December. French carrier SFR, one of the few major carriers with updates maining, still is holding onto its proclaimed January to February release window for its 4G variants of the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3.

Up next for These devices Should be Android 4.4 KitKat, an update That is rumored for March or April for Samsung’s aging shapes flag ships. The company has yet to confirm That the timing and likely will not given its history of staying silent.
