Even as Samsung started Android 4.4.2 KitKat treatment for its third-generation Galaxy Note, rumors are doing the rounds That the software update is coming for the company’s next flagship smartphones.
Referring to the update for 2013 flagship models, Samsung recently rolled out Android 4.4.2 with base firmware N9005XXUENA6 for the LTE version of the Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005).
Meanwhile, a couple of Android 4.4.2 test builds have leaked for the Galaxy S4, Indicating That Samsung has alreadycreated started testing the update for the Galaxy S4. Sammobile claims That Samsung is expected to release Android KitKat for Galaxy S4 sometime between February and March.
So far there is no official word on Android KitKat update for company’s 2012 flagship devices Such as the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2nd
According To Android Geeks, Which managed to obtain ~ some information from an unnamed Samsung software engineer, the highly anticipated Android 4.4.2 update for the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 will be released sometime in late Q1 2014, That is by the end of March. The update will start soon after the KitKat rollout for the Galaxy S4.
The latest KitKat software for the Galaxy devices willbring mines UI changes, but users will get a number of goodies including a transparent status bar, new printing feature in settings and a new full-screen immerse fashion.
The update rollout for the Galaxy S3 and Note 2 will be in phases, Which means it will not be available for all users time immediately after its release.
