Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is one of the many smartphones Xiaomi HAS released this year. The company HAS BEEN releasing devices since January, and the HAS Announced quite a few of them, including Their Mi Note / Mi Note Pro flagship phablets, the Mi 4i, Redmi 2, Redmi 2A, etc. The Redmi Note 2 is the latest handset this China-based company HAS unveiled, and it’s a very solid mid-range offering by the Company. That being said, Redmi Note 2 was unveiled in two variants, the only difference between the two of them is the internal storage and processor clockspeed. The regular Redmi Note 2 sports 16GB of internal storage, and is powered by MediaTek’s Helio X10 (MT6795), 64-bit octa-core SoC running at 2.0GHz. The 32GB model is, however, called the Redmi Note 2 Prime, and it is fueled by the Helio X10 (MT6795T) chip running at 2.2GHz.
The regular (16GB of internal storage) variant of Redmi Note 2 HAS BEEN available for purchase in China for a while now, and the ‘Prime’ handset was released today. The listing was not up for long though, the 32GB variant of Redmi Note 2 is Already sold out on Xiaomi’s official webpage, but you can expect new stock to Appear in the coming days. The Redmi Note 2 Prime costs 999 Yuan in China, and the regular Redmi Note 2 is priced at 799 Yuan. This handset (These handsets) sports a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display, 2GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card). The Redmi Note 2 is powered by the Helio X10 SoC (MT6795 / MT6795T), and a 3,060mAh battery is Also a part of this package. The 13-megapixel camera (+ LED flash and PDAF) is available on the back of this thing, and a 5-megapixel snapper can be found up front.
