Motorola Droid Turbo 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Headed … – International Business Times

Retailer Costco apparently HAS let out the information pertaining to the upcoming release of the Motorola Droid Turbo 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus smartphones. However, it is worth Noting none of the aforesaid devices havebeen Announced officially by the respectively the tech giants.

Android Central was apparently tipped by one of its sources confirming Costco will be selling the Motorola Droid Turbo 2, Samsung 5 Galaxy Note and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. As it turns out, Costco’s website inadvertently published an image with a list of devices scheduled for release. The strip finns says, the “Verizon” version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, alongwith Droid Turbo 2, will be released by Costco.

In the meantime, the Motorola Recently Introduced the flagship Moto X style, also known as Moto X Pure edition in the US, Which Can Be Purchased from the Moto Maker website. However, Tech Times says, mobile network carriers will not be selling this device.

On the other hand, the upper midrange Moto X Play with a Relatively bigger battery will not be made available in the US Based on speculation , the Moto X Play Could be renamed the Motorola Droid Turbo 2. For Those uninitiated, the Droid Series of devices from Motorola is exclusive to Verizon customers.

Samsung’s handsets apparently will be unveiled at the special Unpacked event scheduled for Thursday. The Galaxy Note 5 reportedly will flaunt a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display bundled with QuadHD screen resolution. The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will feature a 5.5-inch dual-edge display.

The smartphones will be powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7420 SoC and backed by 4GB of RAM. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop will come preinstalled. The flipside, however, is the lack of swappable battery unit and microSD card slot, Tech Times noted.

The tech giants have not confirmed the release details or Specifications mentioned above.
