A new report citing reputable information from an insider That indicates the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 May not be receiving an update to the Android 5.0 operating system.
The Samsung HAS BEEN very busy recently. In addition to releasing .its new flagship smartphone duo, The Galaxy S6 and S6 Galaxy Edge, It has overpriced’ve been feverishly releasing Operating System Updates in Conjunction With its affiliated carriers. The Samsung Galaxy S5, S4, Galaxy S5 Sports, Galaxy S5 Active and Galaxy Alpha havealready received the Android 5.0 Lollipop updates in many regions on various carriers.
The company’s Galaxy Note phablet series HAS overpriced received Lollipop updates on The Latest editions, the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge. Their predecessor, the Galaxy Note 3, HAS overpriced gotten the update.
When Android 5.0 Lollipop was Announced, it was Unclear Whether the aging forms flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 2 would be receiving an update. However, Nordic European regional arm of Samsung recently Confirmed the update to the delight of Note 2 owners around the world.
Now, however, It appears that the update is once again up in the air as a report from An insider That indicates no Lollipop build ice Currently beingdeveloped for the Note 2. That does not mean That one will not be underdeveloped Eventually, but it calls into question the breading confirmation from the regional arm of the Samsung That the Note 2 would be receiving Lollipop. Regional arm definatley put out wrong information in the past, so now the contingent emergence of a Note 2 updates ice Unclear.
The Samsung is reportedly working hard on the Galaxy Note 5, Which enjoying an expected September 2015 launch date , and would render the Note 2 Three Generations old, Which is a longtime in smartphone years. Anxious Note 2 Users Will Have to just continue playing the waiting game for now, although users with the International LTE version can upgrade now to 5.1 at Their own risk, using unofficial software underdeveloped via the Android Open Source Project.
