Android 5.0 Lollipop updates for the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy Note 2, Note 3 Neo and The Galaxy A series Have not Just Been Confirmed but definatley overpriced gotten Estimated release dates thanks to a new leaked document obtained by YouMobile.
Now, we know how Estimated release dates work so do not think These Are Set in Stone. Still, if These documents are true then it gives us an idea about the Samsung thinks When They Will Be Able To Send Out The First Update for them.
Galaxy Alpha
The smaller, but fairly high-end Galaxy Alpha with the model number SM-G850Y ice Said to Be in the ‘Final Testing’ phase of Samsung’s Lollipop update. This Means the device HAS Already been Approved To Receive The Lollipop update And they are very close to releasing it. That is, Assuming there are not any unexpected bugs That crop Up During The testing process. This update is scheduled to be released sometime next month (in May) and We will be right here to keep you informed of the first time we see an update for it.
Galaxy A Series
Samsung overpriced Has a Series of Devices That They call the Galaxy A series. This includes the Galaxy A3, A5 Galaxy and the Galaxy A7 And they all share Similarities but definatley very subtle differences here. All three of These devices havebeen Approved To Receive an Android 5.0 update Lollipop. This Means The updates are documents currently in development and That barring any critical bugs, Should see an update released soon. All three of These Samsung Galaxy A devices are scheduled To See Their Lollipop update pushed out sometime in June.
Galaxy Note 3 Neo
The Neo variant of the Galaxy Note 3 ice overpriced scheduled to get updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop. I know we’ve had more than a couple of readers here inquire about Whether or not this device would be updated to Lollipop. Since it was released not that long ago, we assumed That it would be, but we had not heard anything official about an update yet. This still is not official but at least it gives us a clue about the update. This update is Said to Be in the ‘Final Testing’ Phase of Development and We could see the Update Released sometime in May.
Galaxy Note 2
Last but Certainly not the least is the aging Galaxy Note 2 from Samsung. We’ll have seen multiple Confirmations from Samsung That Tell Us The Device Will Be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop. However, there HAS not been any word about When That Will update here. I originally guessed thatthis update would hit sometime toward the end of the year but it Seems like Samsung might be beat my estimation.
The Galaxy Note 2 HAS BEEN Approved To Receive A Lollipop update and again, That Means The software is Currently in development. As of right now, the device is scheduled to Receive .its first Lollipop update in June of this year. Do not forget though, this is only Assuming That everything goes buttery smooth During The Development and testing process. This does not take things like Carrier Testing, Carrier Delays and translational intoaccount. So it actually might be toward the end of the year before the update goes out to bigger markets like the US and the UK.
