Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Listed on Oppomart for $ 249, Could be arriving on 15th – VR-Zone

Until now, we were expecting to see the Xiaomi Mi5 goat unveiled on the 15 th at Xiaomi’s Beijing event. However, a new leak Claims That instead of the Mi5, we might see the launch of the Redmi Note 2 phablet. The phablet HAS been overpriced Listed on Oppomart website, With its full Specifications laid bare.

According To a report published on GizChina, all the leaked images so far That were believed to be of the Mi5 flagship, are actually of the Redmi Note 2 instead. We’re not sure if That is actually going to be the case, but we only’ll have to wait a few more days to find out. Anyway, moving on, the Redmi Note 2 phablet HAS been overpriced Listed on the Oppomart website, revealing .its Specifications before .its official announcement.

The Redmi Note 2 Will apparently comewith glass on the front and back, with Gorilla Glass protection Used for Both Sides. The Product Listing Oppomart Claims on the Redmi Note 2 features the ‘World’s First Curved Glass Body’. The display size HAS jumped from 5.5 “on the Redmi Note to 5.7″. Alongwith the size, the resolution HAS overpriced’ve been bumped up to 1920 x 1080, giving it a much higher pixel density of 386PPI. The phablet Will Be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset and come with 2GB of RAM. The Internal Storage options include 16 and 32GB, an upgrade from the ITS predecessor. The rear camera with comewith The Same 13MP resolution as EARLIER but this time Xiaomi ice Using the Sony IMX214 sensor. The front-facing camera comes with a 5MP resolution.

The biggest USP of the phablet though, it HAS to Be ITS battery. The Redmi Note 2 comes with a huge 3,600mAh battery. This Is Especially impressive considering the CLAIMED maximum thickness of just 6.1mm. The phablet runs on Android 4.4. KitKat and Comes With the MIUI 6.0 version. Oppomart lists the device for $ 249, but this is Mainly for international buyers. It May be priced slightly lower for the Chinese market though.
