Xiaomi enjoying an event on January 15 where it is expected to launch .its next flagship handset. While we do not what the company plans to call it – Mi5 or Mi4s or something else – it looks like the Chinese company May Use The Same event to announce another flagship device. A Chinese shopping portal Oppomart (we do not know how big this e-commerce channel ice, but the GSMA says it’s a “pretty well-known reseller of Chinese smartphones”) HAS Listed the unannounced Redmi Note 2, suggesting an imminent launch.
The shopping portal HAS overpriced Listed the Specifications and offers an alleged Image of the Redmi Note 2. As per Which, the handset Will sports a bigger display and pack into An Improved set of hardware modules. As per the listings, the Redmi Note 2 sports a 5.7.inch 1080p display (vs. 5.5-inch 720p display in Redmi Note). Other Specifications of the handset include a 2.5D ice cream, a type of display That curves at the edges (interestingly, it is inline with one of the previous leaked images, though it was being Referred as Redmi Arch then.) It Is Said To Have a glass jaw as well, and is pegged to be “world’s first curved glass body.”
Other features of the unannounced handset include 64-bit Capable octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It will come in two storage options – 16GB and 32GB. On the camera front, it sports a 13-megapixel shooter with dual-tone dual-LED flash and a 5 megapixel snapper upfront. It willhave a 3,600mAh battery powering the device. On the connectivity side, the dual-SIM Capable Note 2 Supports LTE FDD on 1800/2100/2600 MHz band and 3G HSPA +, alongside other common connectivity options. The handset is priced ate the $ 249th

From what we’ll have heard so far, the Mi5 (or the Mi4s) sports a 5.7-inch display with qHD (2560 × 1440 pixels) pixel resolution. Other attractions of the handset include a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor sensor and a fingerprint scanner.
