Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs Galaxy Note 2 – Let’s Talk Display
We’re less than 24 hours away from the “Samsung Unpacked 2″ event, where the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 3 is expected to be the star of the show. I have to say, until recently, Samsung has been quite Successful at keeping the Note 3 secret. Although there have been tons of rumors, leaks and speculations Regarding this device During the past 6 + months, we still do not really know how it will look like. Or, more to the point, we did not “knew” Assuming that the latest leak is correct. More details below.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs Galaxy Note 2 – Display
Last week we’ve Discussed a bit about the “No 1 N3″ Galaxy Note 3 Chinese knockoff, and we’ve wondered Whether or not the gadget in question May have revealed the overall design of the genuine Samsung phablet. Apparently (and I’m happy to say this), it did not.
The images you see above and below havebeen recently spotted on the official website of ETrade, an OEM party supplier for refurbishing and repairs. The image to the right supposedly depicts Note 3′s display, boasting a 5.89-inch diagonal and presumably a resolution of 1080 x 1920. The supplier lists this panel as “ out of stock ,” Which does not come as a surprise at all.
So, could this really be the front panel of the Note 3? It sure seems like it, and this leak gives us an opportunity to compare this Particular Note 3 party with the front panel of the Samsung Galaxy Note is the second What we can observed Is that the Note 3 Appears to have an even thinner bezel and a more “ square-ish ‘design.
One last thing We Should note Is that ETrade lists the party as an LCD display, and not a Super AMOLED, Which is quite interesting given the fact That we’ve heard some rumors Previously about the Note 3 featuring an LCD display for the purpose of Improving the S Pen experience. On the other side, we can not really take ETrade’s word for it, as the supplier seems to list all of its displays as LCDs, even the Note 2′s.
So, any thoughts Regarding this handful of leaked shots
Thanks Android Police for the heads-up Regarding this Samsung Galaxy Note 3 leak.
