A Xiaomi device believed To be the Redmi Note 2 HAS BEEN spotted at a Certification Agency website, hinting That the device launch is just around the corner.
The eagerly awaited Redmi Note 2 was rumored to get unveiled in January, but it never materialized as the company instead Launched a premium MI Note (& amp; Pro) series of big-screen smartphone.
Soon after this announcement, the speculations surrounding successor of the feature-rich budget Xiaomi Redmi Note phablet havebeen set Silence Until now.
A technology blog, Mobile Dad, while leafing through the Chinese government-owned Quality Certification Center website, stumbled on an unnamed Xiaomi device with the code-number – ’2015501′ passing 3C certificate with 4G LTE connectivity.
Initially, the blog Could not identify the handset name, but upon inquiring its sources, it reportedly confirmed it to ask the Xiaomi Redmi Note the second
It is said To Keep The Same 5.5-inch screen like we see in the first generation model, but its resolution will bump from HD (1280px720p) to full HD (1920x720p).
Under the hood, it will ask packing 64 -bit class Mediatek (MT6795) Helio X10 Octa-core SoC (System on Chip) powered by Android Lollipop (either V5.0.2 or v5.1with MIUI machine), 13mp camera on the rear-side, 5MP snapper on the front. With the resource-hogging full HD screen, Redmi Note 2 is expected to come equipped withmore than 3,000mAh battery.
So far, like other smartphone makers, Xiaomi HAS Chosen to remain silent and not respond to speculations. Rumors are rife the Redmi Note 2 will finally see the light of the day next month alongwith its top-end ‘Pro’ series sibling.
