There Could be some good news Xiaomi fans waiting to get Their hands on the Redmi Note 2, as the company’s co-founder and CEO Lei Jun HAS Confirmed That the device would be officially unveiled on June 29. Just this week, The Redmi Note 2 had Showed up in a leaked image on Twitter, revealing its design and features. The leaked image Showed the handset sporting a dual form factor, with its body being a mix of plastic and metal, as well as the long-rumored fingerprint scanner located under the rear-facing camera unit and LED flash.

The Redmi Note 2 Seems to have passed certification as a Chinese government-owned Quality Certification Center website had Recently Listed an unnamed Xiaomi device, believed to be Redmi Note 2 with the code-number ‘ 2015501 ‘passing 3C certificate with 4G LTE connectivity.
According To The Specifications Listed on the Certification Agency website, the Redmi Note 2 Features The Same 5.5-inch screen in the first generation model, though its resolution HAS been upped from HD (1280px720p) to full HD (1920x720p). The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is powered by a 64-bit class Mediatek (MT6795) Helio X10 Octa-core SoC (System on Chip) and runs on Android Lollipop (either V5.0.2 or v5.1with MIUI machine). The device sports a 13mp rear camera along with a 5MP front-Shooter and is equipped with a 3,000mAh battery.
Xiaomi’s co-founder and CEO Lei Jun HAS now hinted through his official Weibo account That the “new Redmi Note ‘Could be released on June 29 June HAS not provided any details of the product, including its name, but the device HAS to ask the Redmi Note 2, or its bigger version, the Redmi Note 2 Pro, as bothering the devices are expected to be released in July.
