There Could be some good news Xiaomi fans waiting to get Their hands on the Redmi Note 2, as the company’s co-founder and CEO Lei Jun HAS Confirmed That the device would be officially unveiled on June 29. Just this week, The Redmi Note 2 had Showed up in a leaked image on Twitter, revealing its design and features. The leaked image Showed the handset sporting a dual form factor, with its body being a mix of plastic and metal, as well as the long-rumored fingerprint scanner located under the rear-facing camera unit and LED flash.

The Redmi Note 2 Seems to have passed certification as a Chinese government-owned Quality Certification Center website had Recently Listed an unnamed Xiaomi device, believed to be Redmi Note 2 with the code-number ‘ 2015501 ‘passing 3C certificate with 4G LTE connectivity.
According To The Specifications Listed on the Certification Agency website, the Redmi Note 2 Features The Same 5.5-inch screen in the first generation model, though its resolution HAS been upped from HD (1280px720p) to full HD (1920x720p). The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is powered by a 64-bit class Mediatek (MT6795) Helio X10 Octa-core SoC (System on Chip) and runs on Android Lollipop (either V5.0.2 or v5.1with MIUI machine). The device sports a 13mp rear camera along with a 5MP front-Shooter and is equipped with a 3,000mAh battery.
