Last week, Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 had been spotted on a Certification Agency website, hinting That its launch Could be just around the corner. The upcoming smartphone HAS now shown up in a leaked image on Twitter, revealing its design and features.
The Redmi Note 2 is one of the four new Mi phones scheduled to be released in the next few months, of according to Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi’s product roadmap for 2015 that was leaked last month. Last week, a Chinese government-owned Quality Certification Center website had underlisted an unnamed Xiaomi device, believed to be Redmi Note 2 with the code-number ’2015501′ passing 3C certificate with 4G LTE connectivity.
The Specifications Listed on the Certification Agency website Showed the Redmi Note 2 featuring The Same 5.5-inch screen in the first generation model, though its resolution was upped from HD (1280px720p) to full HD (1920x720p). Of according to Specifications Listed on the website, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is powered by a 64-bit class Mediatek (MT6795) Helio X10 Octa-core SoC (System on Chip) and runs on Android Lollipop (either V5.0.2 or v5. 1With MIUI machine). The Redmi Note 2 sports a 13mp rear camera along with a 5MP front-Shooter and is equipped with a 3,000mAh battery.
In The Latest Development , a new render of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 HAS BEEN leaked showing the handset with the long-rumored fingerprint scanner located under the rear-facing camera unit and LED flash. The image shows the rear-side of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 with the company’s trademark ‘MI’ logo at the bottom and featuring an overall design similar to the first generation Redmi Note. The image overpriced shows That the Redmi Note 2 will sport a dual form factor, with its body being a mix of plastic and metal, as the device can be seen to have plastic in the upper and lower extremes, alongwith the metal in the middle.
