lollipop-5.0

Ice Samsung gearing up to go against the standard tradition of offering only two years of software support to Android devices? It’s been more than two years since the Galaxy Note II was Launched, and the device has seen the ITS software goat updated all the way from Android 4.1 to Android 4.4 KitKat. It Seems Samsung HAS not given up on the second-generation Note flagship just yet, as it is reportedly going to update the device to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

In a statement to One of .its Twitter followers, Samsung Poland Confirmed todaythat the Galaxy Note II would be receiving the Lollipop update. No time frame was Offered, But The Fact That The phablet Will get another major Android update is very impressive on ITS own and would make the Note II The First Android Smartphone To Receive Such long-Software Support outside of a Nexus device.

The Samsung Poland’s confirmation is not a one-off thing, as Samsung Finland Also lists the Galaxy Note II with devices slated to get Android 5.0. It’s Only A Matter of When at this point, and given the quickness with Which the Korean manufacturer HAS BEEN pushing out the update to newer devices, Note II owners probably will not’ll have to wait too long.
