While Samsung’s Galaxy S4, S4 Cat.4 Galaxy and Galaxy Note 2 might havealready received Android 4.4.2 in some parts of the world, there are still some regions thathave yet to receive the update. Today we’ve learned some new details about the Android 4.4.2 update for Vodafone Australia customers.
Sadly, Australia tends to be on the tail-end of Software Updates for Android manufacturers. They were getting so much heat from Their customers That They started being very open and transparent withtheir update cycles in the Hopes That Their customers would not be mad at them for delays. Lately though, They have not had any new details for Android 4.4 KitKat on a number of Their Samsung devices. The only thing we knew Was that They were waiting on Samsung to Send them the update so They could test it In Their labs. This week, we’ve got some new information though, and it Should make some owners of the Galaxy S4, S4 Cat.4 Galaxy and Galaxy Note 2 happy.
Some of us were hoping the delay was caused by Samsung Deciding to push one big update to Android 4.4.4 instead of using the 4.4.2 as a steppingstone. This does not seem to be the case since Vodafone Australia’s latest software update post Confirms That 4.4.2 is coming soon. Samsung has recently late Vodafone Australia the Android 4.4.2 update KitKat for all three devices. All Are Currently being tested in the lab and will be pushed to Their customers as soon as everything checks out.
Assuming there are not any unexpected bugs That surface, Vodafone Australia customers Should be expecting an OTA Software Update in the very near future. If we have any readers who have started getting this update, please leave a comment so we know exactly When it started.
