How To Manually Update Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE to Android 4.4.4 KitKat … – International Business Times AU

The Android 4.4.4 KitKat SlimROM build version 8.0 is now available for users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE. It requires root access and a custom recovery Such as ClockworkMod to be installed Manually.

Requirements:

first Use this custom ROM to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE model only.

second Root the Galaxy Note 2 LTE and install custom recovery Such as ClockworkMod.

third Create a manual backup all data files and system settings.

5th Enable the USB debugging mode on the Galaxy Note 2 LTE.

6th Download and Install the Necessary USB drivers on the computer for the Galaxy Note 2 LTE model.

7th Download the SlimROM Android 4.4.4 KitKat and the Slim Google Apps zip files on the computer.

Flashing Instructions:

first Connect the Samsung Galaxy Note LTE 2 to the computer via USB cable.

third Turn off the Galaxy Note 2 LTE and disconnect it from the computer.

4th Reboot into Recovery mode by pressing and holding the Volume Up, Home and Power keys at the sametime.

5th Inside the Recovery mode, create a Nandroid backup of the current ROM by Selecting “Backup and Restore & gt; backup.” Use the “Restore” option Following the same process will revert back the device to the saved ROM.

6th Perform a complete wipe on the device by Selecting “wipe data / factory reset” and “wipe cache partition” then select “advanced & gt; wipe Dalvik cache.”

7th Install the SlimROM by Selecting “install zip from SD card & gt; choose zip from SD card & gt; select the SlimROM zip file downloaded EARLIER & gt; confirm the installation.” Use the same method to Install the Slim Google Apps zip file.

8th After the installation, go back to the main menu and select “reboot system now.”
