Xiaomi Mi Note 2′s dual-edge display panel, the specs tipped Online – Times of India

NEW DELHI: It looks like Xiaomi is preparing to launch a dual-edge display smartphone with a hefty 6GB of RAM. The rumored device will likely bear the moniker Mi Note 2. A leaked image, showing the rumored smartphone’s dual-edge display panel has surfaced online.

As per speculations, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 might launch alongside the redmi Note 4 on August 25. Not only the smartphone will come with a dual-edge display, but will also have a flat screen variant. It is reported That the dual-edge variation willhave a Quad HD resolution, while the flat screen version will come with qHD resolution, the flat screen version will be a Full HD one.


The unannounced Mi Note 2 might also arrive in two variants – 4GB RAM / 64GB storage and 6GB / 128GB storage options. The newly-launched quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 is expected to power the handset, along with a 3,600mAh battery.
As for the build quality, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is said to sport a metal body, same as what is expected for the redmi 4. The 4GB RAM / 64GB version will cost CNY in 2499, while the 6GB RAM / 128GB storage version will be priced at CNY 2799th
Xiaomi Recently Launched its redmi 3s handset in India. The company has Launched two variants of the handset. The 2GB RAM / 16GB ROM version is priced at Rs 6,999 and the 3GB RAM / 32GB ROM version comes at a price tag of Rs 8,999.
In terms of specifications, Xiaomi redmi 3s features a 5-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution. The device is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 2GB / 3GB of RAM. It offers 16GB / 32GB of internal storage and supports microSD cards of up to 128GB in size. The redmi 3s comes with hybrid dual-SIM support and runs Android 6.0 OS Marshmallow with Xiaomi’s MIUI baked on top.
Xiaomi redmi 3s flaunts a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for selfies. It alsoincludes 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options, with a 4,100mAh battery rounding off the specsheet.
