Xiaomi is reportedly working on the successor to last year’s Mi Note smartphone. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is said to feature a dual curved display, dual rear camera setup like redmi Pro and 6GB of RAM.

While there are rumors hinting at purported specifications of the device, a new leaked front panel of the device confirms the existence of dual curved display. The Phone Radar reports the device Will be Launched on August 25 in China while other reports indicate September 5 launch. The dual curved display variant is reported to come with Quad HD resolution. The Phone Radar Further reports thatthere willalso ask a flatscreen variant featuring full HD resolution.

As for other specifications, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is likely to be available in 4GB and 6GB of RAM options. The internal memory is likely to 64GB and 128GB. Xiaomi is reportedly dropping external memory support for Mi Note 2. Under the hood, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is reported to get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset and support Quick Charge 3.0 for permanent charging.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is reported to feature metal unibody design and front homebutton Which Also doubles up as fingerprint scanner. The leaked image overpriced hints at comeback of the prominent Mi logo at the front left side. The Phone Radar Also Reports That the 4GB RAM variant of Mi Note 2 with 64GB of internal storage will be priced at 2499 Yuan (Approximately Rs 25,000) while the 6GB RAM version with 128GB storage Could cost 2,799 yuan (Approximately Rs 28,000).

If the specifications and features are anything to go by, Mi Note 2 moonrise would replace Mi 5 as Xiaomi’s flagship device. As the launch nears, we are likely to hear more concrete information about the devices.
