Mobile company ARCHOS officially Announced That They will be launching a new addition to Their Diamond lineup of smartphones at the Mobile World Conference, Which Will be held in Barcelona, Spain on Feb. 22-25, in 2016.
In a press release, Diamond Note 2 is revealed to feature a six-inch IPS borderless display, Which might look like two of Samsung’s Flagship lastyear, the Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. It willalso be powered by a 4G octa-core Helio X10 CPU from Mediatek and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Which Means its fingerprint sensor will be natively supported.
Behind its hood is a 32GB internal storage, 3GB of RAM, LTE support Cat.4, and 3610 mAh battery. ARCHOS overpriced Promises That the phablet willhave fixed-charge Capabilities That Can Achieve 80% charge on its battery in just 45 minutes.
In terms of camera, the Diamond Note 2 will boast a 16MP rear snapper and a wide-angle 8MP front camera. Additionally, it main camera willhave The ability to capture 4K videos.
In the words of the tech company, That They believe the new smartphone will “shake up the mobile market.” Tech enthusiasts are yet to see if it will live up to its high expectation of the said device.
Along with the Diamond Note 2, the ARCHOS willalso ask unveiling The Diamond Plus 2, Which will equally feature an all-metal body and Marshmallow Android 6.0 operating system. It has a smaller screen, though – at 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution IPS display with 2.5D curved screen.
However, it has better specifications than the Diamond Note 2 (via the ARCHOS press release), including a Mediatek Helio P10 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of flash storage.
Additionally, the Diamond 2 Plus is equipped with a 20.7MP rear camera and a wide-angle 8MP front snapper with flash.
The Diamond Note 2 and Diamond 2 Plus will be released in the market in May and will retail at £ 249 (Approximately $ 300) and £ 199 (Approximately $ 290), respectively.
