As we Previously reported, sometime Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 devices on AT & amp; T in the US Will probably’ll have to wait longer than others, likely due to some sticky bugs found (sometime That Cause Commonly Used apps like Contacts to crash) while Samsung rolled out OTA Lollipop in the Scandinavian markets.

But having to wait ice Preferable to never getting android L, Which is the situation of the Galaxy Note 2 owners might find themeselves in, if rumors are correct.

Samsung Galaxy A Series Updates Coming:

But Was The Galaxy Note 2 Lollipop Update Dropped?

According To SamMobile, Which Has a pretty good track record with reliable inside sources, a previous leak in Finland (Not to mention a Samsung Denmark in January and a Polish Samsung representative’s tweet a month ago and through GottaBeMobile) drew the Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 seem all but inevitable.

But a new Lollipop update roadmap leaked to the Samsung-obsessed news blog includes details on the mid-range Galaxy A series Lollipop updates, but nothing on the elderly Galaxy Note 2 flagship.

The newer mid-tier Galaxy A series – Including The Galaxy A3, A5 Galaxy, and Recently Launched Galaxy A7 – Aimed at the International Market Will Be Getting an Android 5.0 Lollipop release date soon, as the Samsung ice Currently Testing the update.

The Galaxy Note 2 – One of the most satisfying and popular phablets of all time –may be showing signs of obsolescence (forced or Not, You Decide) as SamMobile reports “Our insiders reveal thatthere is no sign of Android 5.0 for the Galaxy Note 2.”

Even worse for fans of the 2012 phablet, SamMobile Continues, “It is not in development and HAS not even been mentioned yet.”

Yikes.

Of course, you’d expect the nearly 3-year-old Galaxy Note II to pray at the bottom of the list – and US owners of nearly every Android device knowthat they’re the load to get Lollipop updates – but it’d be nice to know the Galaxy Note 2 is officially somewhere on the timetable.

You Can not Prove a negative of course, unless Samsung officially tells Note II owners it’s time to upgrade Their devices if They wanttheir Lollipop, and That HAS note Happened . . . yet.

So if you need to, Hope for the best, and maybe the Galaxy Note 2′s update release date Will Eventually ask Confirmed. Or maybe not.
