Verizon delivers Android Jelly Bean to Samsung's Galaxy Note 2 - Fiercemobilecontent

Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ) is upgrading Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Note 2 phablet to Google’s (NASDAQ: GOOG) Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating system.

Android Jelly Bean promises a smoother and more responsive UI, a revamped homescreen That Automatically Adapts to fit content and Google Now, Which includes personalized information like local weather and traffic updates. The 246 MB over-the-air update Verizon overpriced generated support for the Samsung Smart Switch content transfer application and preloads version 5.1.2 of the VZTones ringback tones app.
