After S6 edge was Launched, I find this iPhone-like designs getting lame and boring. The saving grace for Chinese branded phones are Their monster specs and affordable price.

The Redmi Note released with $ 160 (999 yuan) price tag. Most likely The Redmi Note 2 will follow suit.

At that price the specs That is highly Unlikely. Once Xiaomi phones was unrivaled with its prices. Not anymore. They Decided it’s a good time to enjoy fatter profit margins starting from the 2015th

If the Mi4i is $ 205, then With that depicted the specs it Should be more expensive. Much better SoC, check. Metal body, check. Fingerprint scanner, check. Larger display, check. It would ask the That MX5 expensive. If It would come with SD615 instead to Helio X10, then it would ask That the MI4 (Note Mi4i) expensive.

Mi4i is overpriced considering the old Xiaomi standards (and Comparing some devices like the M1 Note). It’s Clearly a midranger and better suits Redmi line. They friendlyness into Mi line and called it as a flagship. So They Could have a ground to justify that price. No suprise They did not release it in China yet. If you familiar with the Chinese market, you would see there is no way it would sell in large volumes with that price.

Look at the Meizu M1 Note. It released 6 months ago at $ 160 price range. Recently the M2 Note started from $ 130th

If They are Intended to stay strong in Chinese Financial Market phablets They can not afford to sacrifice less than its contenders, but doing thatcould cause hurting Their international customers’ who bought Mi4i.
