A new beta version of CyanogenMod based Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Custom ROM HAS BEEN released to Samsung’s 2012 flagship phablet Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 model.

This new custom ROM CyanogenMod CM12 series HAS BEEN developed by a senior XDA Developer forum member going by the moniker, Ivan_Meler.
It is 225.1MB in size and this custom ROM is based on the AOSP (Android Open Source Project) 5.0.2 Lollipop.
This is an experimental CM12 build, so some issues are yet to be fixed. We advise our readers go through the whole tutorial article first before going ahead with the custom ROM installation.

Tutorial: Step-by-Step Installation Guide of CyanogenMod [Unofficial] Android 5.0.2 Beta Lollipop CM12 Custom ROM on Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 –
Step 1: Download CyanogenMod [Unofficial] Android 5.0.2 Lollipop CM12 Beta custom firmware (build date: 22 / 12/2014) – ( HERE ) and Google Apps ( HERE ) up to your PC.
Step 2: Connect the Samsung Galaxy Note N7100 2 to PC via USB cord.
[Note: Before plugging the phone to the computer, ask surethat You Have Installed USB driver software, if not, click HERE to download the firmware]
Step 3: Then, place the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop zip file into the phone’s SD card memory. [Note: Users are advised to paste the .zip file in the SD card root note in any other folder.]
[Note: Before Installing the Custom Software, pray surethat the device must havebeen rooted and HAS Installed ClockworkMod Recovery Tool.]
Step 4: Now, turn off the device and disconnect from the PC.
Step 5: Then underperform the regular Recovery Mode sortie by the press holding ‘Volume (up)’, ‘Home’ and ‘Power’ buttons.

Step 10: Then tap ‘choose zip from sdcard’ and go to Android 5.0.2 ROM .zip file in the SD card and enter the setup process. [Note: use 'Volume' keys to navigate and the 'Power' button to select options]
Step 11: Once done with the setup process, navigate to ‘++++ + Go Back +++++ ‘and re-boot the device by opting’ reboot system now ‘Seen in the recovery menu.
Now, your device (Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100) Will take at a few minutes to complete the booting process.
Users then head to the Settings & gt; & gt; select About phone to confirm the installation of CyanogenMod [Unofficial] Android 5.0.2 Beta Lollipop CM12 Custom ROM.
