The Highlanders finish the regular season on a high note – Carroll County News

The Eureka Springs Highlanders had already clinched a conference championship, but Tuesday’s home game against Mountainburg was very important. The 2A-4 West district tournament begins next week and both teams were looking to make a strong closing argument ahead of Wednesday’s seeding meeting. A 64-44 victory for the Highlanders is a pretty strong closing argument.

“I feel like we are playing well at the right time,” Eureka Springs coach Brian Rambo said. “I feel like we had a chance to come out and show people how much we had improved. My guys took the challenge. We didn’t play well early, but finished the game really well. It is a really good game for us.”

Mountainburg had an 18-12 lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Highlanders turned things around from there. Eureka Springs led 28-24 at halftime. These two teams met earlier this season and the Dragons came out on top, 63-44.

“It’s a 39-point turnaround,” Rambo said. “And obviously early in the season we were young. We had a lot of sophomores playing a lot of minutes. We were trying to figure out who we were. We started out 9-7 and are 12-1 since then. It says a lot about our team and how much we have progressed.”

After the Highlanders fell behind 18-12 in the first quarter, Rambo was glad to see his team make an impressive turnaround.

“The guys said 'hey, let’s make stops,'let’s do things the right way,' " Rambo said. “It’s good seeing guys lead the other guys. I feel like there have been times this year when I have had to be the emotional guy, but it’s a reflection to see our kids lead each other.”

As a result of the win and the 21-8 record, Eureka Springs clinched the No. 2 seed. They will play on Thursday and have a double-bye. As the No. 2 seed, the Highlanders have clinched a spot in the regional tournament.

“That says a lot about our kids and their last 13 games,” Rambo said. “Once we put all of the stats up there, it was pretty obvious that we were playing the best basketball of anyone in the league. And I think we have the third-longest winning streak in 2A basketball at seven games. We have won 12 of our last 13. It’s really hard to argue against those things.”

Factory that manufactured batteries for the Note 7 began to burn – IDG.see

Samsung has it’s not easy right now. With the ongoing investigations of corruption offences, management had probably hoped to at least be able to put the scandal surrounding the exploding cell phones behind. But it was not. For in the go step, namely, flames from a factory that manufactured batteries were the reason that the Note 7-phone finally was removed from the market.

the Fire was caused by products that are thrown away, including faulty batteries. The factory is located in the east of China and is owned by one of Samsung’s subsidiaries. According to the South China Morning Post described the incident as a minor fire and no one person will have come to harm, writes Business Insider. Nor was it the actual manufacturing plant, which caught fire, but the part where the waste is stored says a spokesperson for the company.

The local fire department will, however, with other data. On China’s equivalent of Twitter, Weibo, they write that there were lithium batteries inside of a production department which started to burn, and a number of semi-finished products. Had a total of the 110 firefighters and 19 fire trucks on site during the fire fighting.

It was a couple of weeks ago that Samsung pointed out the two vendors that they were behind the exploding phones. Something that cost the manufacturer over $ 5.3 billion in lost profits. Nostalgic about the Blue Coral Note 7? Xiaomi has the Mi Note 2 fix – Phone Arena

Call it what you will, but Chinese darling Xiaomi will be releasing a blue Mi Note 2, among other color versions, and the hue somewhat resembles that of the infamous Note 7 Blue Coral version. That one proved so popular that Samsung decided to bring it down to the next best thing in its flagship Galaxy line – the S7 edge – and it has been selling like hot cakes ever since, often on the back of orders from U.S. carriers.

Even if you decide that the blue Mi Note 2, as showcased in the photos below by Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, is not at all like the Blue Coral Note 7, bear in mind that it’s still a phone with a 5.7″ curved dual edge OLED that is made of metal and glass. The rest of The specs include Snapdragon 821 chipset, 6 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, 4000 mAh battery, and a 23 MP camera.

These top-shelf specs do reflect on the asking price of about $ 600, but let’s not forget that the handset also has a version with no less than 37 bands, including CDMA and 22 LTE ones, that would work virtually everywhere on global carrier networks if you decide to import. Granted, you can’t make a Note 7 without an S Pen, but Xiaomi is at least trying.

Sandhausen.

Note: 3

Note: 2,5

Note: 2,5

Note: 3

Schöpf an drei Toren was involved

Note: 2,5

Note: 2,5

Gegen Sandhausen durfte you located erneut ran. Note: 3

Note: 2

Huntelaar gibt Comeback

Note: 3,5

Note: 2

Note: 3

Note: 3

Max Meyer (ab 74.): ohne Note

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (ab. 85.): ohne Note

Goretzka war phasenweise Schalkes Manager auf dem Platz – Note 2,5

Leon Goretzka im Zweikampf mit Juan Bernat.

Leon Goretzka im Zweikampf mit Juan Bernat.

Photo: firo

Munich,.. Insgesamt war Schalkes Numbers eins aufmerksamer als in the presley invited the two Spielen zuvor gegen Ingolstadt und Frankfurt.

Note: the 3

Note: 2,5

Naldo Der Innenverteidiger commer aus 18 Meter per Freistoß ins kurze Eck zum 1:1 – Naldos erstes Saisontor. Ansonsten räumte der 34-Anniversary in der Zentrale der Innenverteidigung with a few Ausnahmen das ab, was you stars .. clear top.

Note: the 3

Note: the 3

Note: 2,5

Note: the 4

Note: 3,5

Note: 3

Note: 2,5

Note: the 3

Note: 2,5

Note: 2,5

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (ab. 73.): ohne Note

Thilo Kehrer (ab 87.): ohne Note

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may soon be getting the Blue Coral color variant, latest reports have suggested. It’s already available in black, gold and silver. The device launched in September 2016 and since then has been praised for its performance and design. Xiaomi showcased the three new colors at the CES 2017, purple, green and pink, though nothing was mentioned about the Blue Coral color. Now a leak has revealed that Xiaomi might be ready with that and the leak seems authentic.

According to Tech Times, a report by Xiaomi Today, they talked about the new color variant being spotted on Weibo. The publication has even shared images of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 new color variant. It could be Xiaomi’s strategy to keep its fans excited in existing products by introducing color upgrades. Introducing a new color variation always infuses a new lease of life into the products and this is exactly what Xiaomi is planning to do – keep the consumers wowed. Recently, Samsung too introduced a Coral Blue color variant for the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2′s curved display is very similar to the Galaxy Note 7 device that went up in flames. The Mi Note 2 has an attractive sandwich construction, 3D front glass and the back with symmetrically curved sides. The device has a 5.7-inch FHD OLED screen, Snapdragon 821 chipset, 64GB internal storage and 4GB of RAM. The USB Type-C ports and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor are also included. Meanwhile, details about the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 have also leaked, reports GSMArena.

The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is allegedly dropping the dual-camera architecture in favor of a better sensor – the 12MP Sony IMX 362. It’s a 1/2.55″ sensor with large 1.4 µm pixels and Dual Pixel autofocus. Other specs revealed are 4,500 mAh battery, 64/128GB internal storage option and 4/6GB of RAM. The 4GB/64GB configuration will cost approximately $ 230 while the 6GB/128GB will cost around $ 260. Stay tuned on Mobile & Apps for more updates on Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and Redmi Pro 2.
